The bridge across the Kola bay is a bridge road of four traffic lines over the Kola bay in Murmansk. The total length of the bridge is about 2.5 kilometers, and its above water part is 1.6 kilometers. Since the opening in 2005, the bridge over the Kola Bay is the longest bridge road beyond the Arctic Circle. The bridge is a transport hub which provides connection of the city with west parts of the Murmansk region and also with Norway and Finland. |
