The memorial sign “To heroes of Severomorsk died in the Great Patriotic War» situated in the Leninskiy district of Murmansk.

The opening of the memorial sigh in honor of heroes of Northern Navy was held on the 30^th anniversary of crushing defeat of fascist forces in the Arctic on the 13^th of October 1974. The author of the monument is an architect F.S. Taksis.
