Regional Drama theater

It was opened on the 1st of February 1939.

During the Second World War in 1941-1945, the theater workers formed a crew to perform in military units, and in military hospitals on the frontline. For a long time Theater had no own premise and they performed in the Culture center for fishermen (now it is called Murmansk Regional Palace of Culture named after S.M. Kirov).

The Theater is actively touring in the Murmansk, Karelia, Leningrad, Vologda and Arkhangelsk regions and also on the Altay territory, Crimea and republic of Belorussia, in Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
